As the scorpion hung on to a twig fighting for his life, he yelled to the frog. My friend frog, my friend frog, PLEASE help me! Save me or I am surely going to die! The frog responded, Scorpion I would love to save you. You are my best friend in the world. I fear though that if I were to get close enough to save you, you would sting me. The scorpion said, Of course I would never do that! I love you! You are the person who matters most to me in the world! I could never hurt you. With that reassurance, the frog waded into the water, grabbed hold of the scorpion and dragged him to shore. Thus saving the scorpions life. As soon as the scorpion realized he was out of harms way, he reached out and stung the frog. As he laid there dying, the frog cried out, How could you do that to me? After you say you loved me, you killed me. The scorpion
replied, It is my instinct.
